Prince Harry and Meghan's secret code names revealed

Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot last year, the public interest in them has swelled.

As a result royal bodyguards have had to amp up their security, creating undercover names for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

But if you’re thinking their secret code names might have an air of James Bond to them, you’re going to be surprised.

The covert nicknames their security use for them have been born from their official initials, DS — ‘David Stevens’ for Harry and ‘Davina Scott’ for Meghan — according to the Daily Star.

Talk about inconspicuous.

While their undercover names are far from sexy, they are essential and reportedly follow the same format that Prince William and Kate Middleton use when out and about.

Security has tightened heaps since the pair married in May, with 37-year-old Meghan even “freezing out” some of her family and friends as she doesn’t know “who she can trust”.

This isn’t the first time Prince Harry has gone by a secret name.

During his teen years, the youngest son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana was known as ‘Spike Wells’ on Facebook.
