Pippa Middleton's wedding to James Matthews is expected to see an array of high-profile guests in attendance, with many royal spectators highly anticipating the prescence of Prince Harry and his girlfriend Meghan Markle.

And the latest reports suggest that attending the nuptials could lead to Harry popping the big question to his American love, meaning a royal wedding will be just around the corner.

"Everyone gets more romantic when they attend a wedding and I'm sure Harry and Meghan will feel it too", Chris Ship, the royal editor ITV News, tells NBC News.

However Chris acknowledges the pair have only been dating for a year, so "I think they will get engaged, but they might well choose to keep us — and the world — waiting a little longer", he says.

Meanwhile E! News correspondent Melanie Bromley tells the publication, "We do think once the wedding is over, it will pave the way for Harry to propose without taking the attention away from Pippa".

Earlier this month it was confirmed that Meghan had booked time off her hit TV series, Suits, so she can accompany Harry to the wedding of the year.

“The American actress wants to take a week off between 15 and 22 May, which would allow her plenty of time to travel to the UK for the hotly-anticipated nuptials in Berkshire on 20 May,” reported Hello!.

Pippa decided to kick her ‘no ring, no bring’ policy to the curb when it came to Prince Harry’s lady love, even though it’s believed her finance, James Matthews’, brother isn’t able to bring his girlfriend.
