Step aside Prince Harry, there’s a new young royal about to shake up the socialite scene and steal his fair share of hearts.
With Prince Harry all but married off to Suits star Meghan Markle, the time has come to crown a new playboy to watch – and it’s none other than Prince Nikolai of Denmark.
Prince Nikolai, who bears more than a passing resemblance to our fave Harry Styles, celebrated his 18th birthday, with his grandmother Queen Margarethe organising a black tie yacht party for his coming of age.
The prince, who is seventh in line to the Danish throne, smiled shyly as he arrived in a tuxedo with his father, Prince Joachim, mother, Alexandra, Countess of Frederksborg, stepmother Princess Marie and his siblings.
While this isn't the first time we've seen Prince Nikolai in the spotlight, his lavish 18th bash has firmly cemented him on the royal scene.
Princess Mary, who is Nikolai’s aunt by marriage, also attended with her brood of four.
While Prince Nikolai has managed to keep his life fairly private up to this point, there are a few details that have emerged of the teen.
The lover of “deep house music” has just gotten his drivers license, is still studying, and has his dad’s backing when it comes to escaping the confines of royal expectations.
“[He] should not be forced into something. Nikolai’s future shall be conducted entirely by his own plan," Prince Joachim told Billed Bladet.
Something else interesting to note: Prince Nikolai won’t be privy to all the royal spoils and riches.
Queen Margrethe has revealed that of all her grandchildren, only Prince Christian – the future king – will be bestowed with money, a title and land.
It hasn't stopped a growing number of eager admirers making their appreciation clear.
