Prince William is every exhausted new dad at ANZAC ceremony

It’s only been a few days since Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed baby number three, and while the Duchess is on maternity leave to take care of the new bub, the same can’t be said for Wills.

The new dad attended an ANZAC Day service at Westminster Abbey, sitting alongside Prince Harry and his bride-to-be, Meghan Markle.

But while Harry and Meghan were fresh-faced and bright-eyed, it was a completely different story for sleep-deprived dad, William.

Despite being seen laughing and joking before the ceremony – even greeting Meghan with a peck on the cheek – it all became a bit too much when Wills sat down.

The 35-year-old was forced to wage war with his exceptionally heavy eyelids, and appeared to be losing the battle on several occasions.

Wills, who is also dad to Prince George, four, and two-year-old Charlotte, has revealed the family’s latest arrival is doing well.

“Sleeping’s going reasonably well so far, so he’s behaving himself which is good news,” he said.

Meanwhile, with the baby’s name expected to be revealed shortly, Prince William couldn’t help but tease onlookers about the impending announcement.

With reports he hinted at the hospital Arthur might be in the running, Wills joked that anything could be a possibility after meeting Sir Jerry Mateparae, New Zealand High Commissioner to the UK at the ceremony.

“Jerry would like it to be Jerry,” he said. “Jerry’s a strong name.”
