Princess Beatrice brings royal charm to Met Gala
She’s got two royal weddings coming up on her social calendar, but Princess Beatrice isn’t too busy to find time to attend the Met Gala.
The British royal, who is the daughter of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Charles’ brother Prince Andrew, was pictured arriving on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art alongside fashion’s most elite on Monday.
Dressed in head to toe purple and wearing a glittering headband, she looked very regal indeed, and she incorporated this year’s ‘Heavenly Bodies’ theme by channelling a Grecian priestess.
Back home in London, 29-year-old Beatrice has no doubt been busy preparing for her sister Princess Eugenie’s upcoming wedding.
After announcing her engagement in January, Eugenie is set to wed her partner of seven years Jack Brooksbank, at the same Windsor chapel as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in October this year.
The sisters will also be in attendance for her cousin Harry’s big day on May 19, but rumour has it their mum has only been invited to parts of the festivities.
It’s been reported that Fergie will not be present for Harry and Meghan’s evening reception at Frogmore House, but she will be there for the ceremony at St George’s Chapel and the afternoon reception at St George’s Hall.
She’s said to be ‘deeply unhappy’ about having to leave the wedding while the rest of the family party on into the night.
It’s been claimed that Harry was adamant his aunt should be at his nuptials, despite his brother, Prince William, leaving her off his guest list entirely when he married Kate Middleton in 2011.
