Why Princess Charlotte's outfits always coordinate with mum Kate
It’s clear as Princess Charlotte gets older she’s definitely taking after her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, in the style department.
But if you take a closer look you’ll see when the mother and daughter pair are seen out at public engagements together, they’re often in matching outfits.
For example, take the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony.
Every year Princess Charlotte and mum Kate Middleton have been in coordinating outfits.
2016.
2017.
2018.
The mother and daughter duo also often coordinate their outfit colours on royal tours.
When the Cambridges touched down in Canada in 2016, the Duchess of Cambridge and her daughter were both wearing blue.
The following year, in 2017, the pair were photographer in similar colour tones whilst in Germany.
On the same tour, the duchess and Charlotte were both wearing blue.
Even at the recent nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Charlotte and her mother both coordinated in white.
However, their coordinating outfits are no accident.
It’s apparently all down to the Cambridge family “brand”.
“When you’re the most photographed family on the planet (sorry Beyonce, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy) coordinating your look is a great way to preserve the Cambridge family’s brand,” former 9Style editor Damien Woolnough explained last year.
“Just like the Beckhams, Kate and Will demonstrate that the family dresses together looks great together.”
Keep the coordinating mother-daughter outfits coming, we can’t get enough of them.
