Princess Diana claimed she walked in on Prince Charles having phone sex with Camilla while sitting on the toilet, according to newly released tapes.

New footage of the Princess, which was recorded by a BBC cameraman just five months before she passed away, claims Diana said Camilla was the “raunchier of the two”.

The cameraman kept a diary of the time he spent making the documentary and according to him, Charles was in the bathroom on the toilet when Diana caught him red-handed.

“She caught Charles and Camilla de flagrante after listening in to his phone calls,” the cameraman’s diary said, according to The Sun.

“She described how she came to listen to their phone calls. In one, Charles was sitting on the toilet seat when she caught him.

“Camilla was the raunchier of the two. She gives examples”.

The tapes are different to the ones which are set to air on Channel 4 in the UK tonight, where Diana speaks about her “odd” sex life with Prince Charles.

In the controversial documentary, called DianaIn Her Own Words, the Princess was recorded in a session with her voice coach Peter Settelen.

In 2004, excerpts from the tapes were reportedly played by NBC in America, where Diana said the spark between her and Charles fizzled out.

“It was odd. Very odd. But there was [a sexual relationship] - it was there, and then it fizzled out about seven years ago,” she said.

“Instinct told me, it was just so odd.

“There was never a requirement for it from his case.

“Sort of a once every three weeks … and I kept thinking...and then I followed a pattern.

“He used to see his lady [Camilla, now Duchess of Cornwall and the Prince Charles’ second wife] once every three weeks before we got married.”

The tapes were reportedly recorded while Diana was preparing for her now infamous Panorama interview with Martin Bashir in 2005, where she candidly opened up about Charles’ affair with Camilla.

During the interview, Diana said she knew about the affair and was told about it by people “who minded and cared about our marriage”.

“Oh, a woman’s instinct is a very good one,” she said at the time.

Diana InHer Own Words is coming soon to Channel 7.
