Princess Diana’s niece raises eyebrows with risque drug reference

Princess Diana’s niece Lady Kitty Spencer is typically renowned for her gorgeous fashion choices however a recent photo shoot with Marie Claire Italia has sparked some controversy among royal fans.

Appearing on the cover of the magazine the 27-year-old wore a dazzling statement necklace by high-end jeweller Bvlgari – only some people weren’t too sure about what it represented.

That’s because the questionable necklace named “Happy Leaves” is decked out with numerous marijuana leaves hanging from its gold and green chain.

Given her link to the royal family where females are restricted from wearing anything as daring as colourful nail-polish, the drug reference was clearly pushing the boundaries.

However, fans were loving the rebellious style:

“Di’s niece adorned with marijuana leaf jewellery #fashiongoalz,” one commented, while another wrote: “Yessss! Happy necklace indeed!

Fans also marvelled over her resemblance to her beloved Aunty:

“I see so much of Diana in you, gorgeous!” one said.

“You favour your beautiful Aunt Princess Diana so much,” claimed another.

Despite the similarities, Kitty, who was only six years old when Diana died, has said she has little memories of the Princess.

Kitty teamed the dress with orange satin heels and a green fascinator designed by Philip Treacy.
