Princess Eugenie forced to delay wedding for Harry and Meghan

Fresh off announcing her engagement to new fiancé Jack Brooksbank this week, Princess Eugenie has already been forced to postpone her wedding.

After seven years of dating, the couple are keen to walk down the aisle as soon as September this year, but due to a long list of royal engagements they’ve been forced to delay their plans.

And the main culprits for this are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are expected to embark on a high-profile foreign tour as a married couple that same month, according to the Daily Mail.

Royals tend to organise their schedules six months in advance so it looks like Eugenie, 27, will have to wait to exchange vows in October instead.

“There is talk of a number of foreign tours for Prince Harry and Miss Markle this year, and September is a date that has been mooted,” a source confirmed.

“There is nothing concrete yet, but it looks as if Eugenie and Jack will go for October instead.”

The Queen’s second son and Eugenie’s father Prince Andrew also confirmed as much on Monday.

“It’s now about finding the time and the date and getting it all organised, I think probably in the autumn some time, is the time every is looking at,” he said.

“We can’t fix a date yet, we’ve got to look at everybody’s diaries – it’s a bit more complicated than that.”
