This princess just tied the knot in a stunning royal wedding

Royal fans everywhere may be patiently waiting for Princess Eugenie to walk down the aisle on May 12th, but it turns out another royal bride tied the knot over the weekend in a stunning wedding in France.

Princess Helene of Yugoslavia said ‘I do’ to Stanislas Fougeron on Saturday at the Saint Etienne de Janville church, surrounded by friends and family.

The bride, who is the daughter of the late Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia, looked the picture of happiness in a white, figure-hugging, crocheted dress and a pair of matching white heels.

She wore her hair in a sleek updo’ and carried a modest bouquet of flowers.

The reception is reported to have taken place at Stanislas’s home, Chateau de Villeprévost, in Tillay-le-Péneux.

This is Princess Helene’s second marriage. She wed Thierry Haubert in the 90s’ and the couple have three children together.

The newlyweds’ got in with their nuptials just before Princess Eugenie’s Windsor Castle wedding with Jack Brooksbank are due to take place.

However, while we were all glued to our TV as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married in the same church back in May, it seems we might have to make do with just pictures of Eugenie and Jack’s big day.

Reports are circulating that the BBC has rejected pleas from her father Prince Andrew, to broadcast the day, and apparently cited that a lack of public interest would make the wedding a rating flop.

“The BBC was approached because they have a special relationship with Buckingham Palace and a formula that works,” an unnamed source told the Mail on Sunday.

“But they turned it down because they don’t think enough people will tune in and that there isn’t enough support for the Yorks.”

hey added that despite the royal family’s biggest names – and a whole lot of high-profile celebrities – being on the guest list, “nobody wants to take the risk and spend the money it would cost to put it on air.”

The palace has yet to make an official comment on whether the wedding will be televised, but as Eugenie is set to walk down the aisle in less than a month’s time, we’re hoping for an announcement soon.
