Princess Beatrice and Eugenie's outfits divide fashion critics

Their outfits have almost been as eagerly awaited as Meghan Markle’s wedding dress and Princess Beatrice and Eugenie have once again left fashion critics divided over their outfits for the big day.

The sisters were spotted making their way into the church, with Princess Beatrice wearing a teal frock with sheer sleeves and a controversial headpiece that circled around her head.

Younger sister Eugenie’s look also turned heads, with the brunette looking particularly demure in a pastel blue shift dress and pill box hat.

They became quite the talking point at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011, when they arrived in some rather wacky headpieces.

Princess Beatrice in particular copped significant mockery for the beige Philip Treacy creation she wore that truly stuck out like a sore thumb.

The hat became such a sensation that it even gained its own Facebook page with thousands of fans.

Interestingly, Beatrice later decided to auction the hat for charity and it made a whopping $28,000 which was split between UNICEF and the British charity Children in Crisis.

Later this year, Princess Eugenie, 27, will also be walking down the aisle at her own royal wedding to long term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank, 31.

The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson, became engaged to her boyfriend of seven years during a trip to Nicaragua in January.

Their wedding is set to be held at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on October 12, the very same venue that Prince Harry and Megan are using.

As for the Duke of York’s eldest daughter, Beatrice, she’s currently single after her long-term relationship with ex Dave Clark didn’t work out.
