The reason the fifth photo from Prince Louis' christening was never meant to be seen
On Sunday evening Kensington Palace released the official photographs from Prince Louis’ christening taken by photographer Matt Holyoak.
Unexpectedly on Monday morning, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge decided to release a fifth photo of a beaming Prince Louis with his mother.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released an additional photograph taken following the christening of Prince Louis,” a statement from Kensington Palace read.
“The Duke and Duchess hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do.”
However, this photo of little Louis chuckling away was never meant to be seen by the eyes of the public, according to the Mirror.
The bonus photo was taken by Matt Porteous, a photographer hired for a private family album for the Cambridges.
Despite the adorable snap only meant for the eyes of their immediate family and friends, Wills and Kate decided it was just too cute to keep to themselves.
And we’re sure everyone is happy they decided to release it too.
The bonus photo of a beaming Louis is in stark contrast to how chilled and mellow the newborn prince is in the four other photos.
Keep them coming please, Wills and Kate.
