The reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are waiting to have a baby

The whole world is watching and waiting in anticipation for the day Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announce they’re expecting their first child.

However it appears we may have to wait a little longer than expected for a new royal bun in the oven.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly put any baby plans on hold for one simple reason: travel.

The newlyweds are set to embark on a lengthy royal tour in October to Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and New Zealand.

As noted by The Express, the duchess will very likely want to “avoid all the side affects that come with travelling while pregnant” on the upcoming royal tour.

With the current interest in the royal couple, the tour is expected to be highly publicised so it’s understandable Meghan may want to postpone any pregnancy plans for later in the year.

The couple may perhaps be taking notes from Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did not announce their first pregnancy until December 2012 – around 19 months after their wedding in April 2011.

However some doubt has been cast upon the upcoming royal tour for Harry and Meghan, as the stress of royal life is reportedly taking a toll on the former Suits actress.

“Meghan may not even attend the games at all or visit Australia,” an apparent Kensington Palace insider told New Idea. “There is serious talk about that and contingency plans have been put in place.”

But details of the royal couple’s luxury Sydney pad have just been revealed, so we’re hoping a “multi-million dollar waterfront home” will be enough to convince the duchess to visit Down Under.

According to the Herald Sun, Harry and Meghan will be living it up in Villa del Mare in the Sydney suburb of Point Piper.
