Rob Irwin's recent interview reminds us of Steve Irwin

There’s no denying Robert Irwin is an exact mini-me of his late father Steve Irwin.

But his recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon has given us all the Steve feels.

Rob introduces Jimmy to some more interesting wildlife creatures including Javier, a capybara, the world’s largest rodent.

Feeding Javier a piece of corn, the 14-year-old fawns over the animal in the same way his dad used to.

Rob especially reminds us of Steve in one particular video when he gives a tour of Australia Zoo. Watch the video above to see the comparison of father and son.

Whilst Steve isn’t cuddling up to a capybara, he does show a wombat some love just like his dad did in the past.

“Have a look at this little cutie pie,” the late Crocodile Hunter says in the video. “This is my girl and her name is Minibus.”

We just can’t get over how alike Rob is to his ‘big man’.

Later on in Rob’s Tonight Show appearance, the entire Irwin clan joins him including mum Terri and older sister Bindi.

Ans in true Irwin style, the family brings out a very large alligator.

The world just can’t get enough of the Irwins.
