The Rock reduces his body double to tears
With a stage name like ‘The Rock’, you’d assume Dwayne Johnson is as hard as nails.
But nope, deep down he’s one big softie; so much so that the actor recently decided to thank his body double of 17 years with a special present that reduced him to tears.
The actor first started working with stuntman Tanoai Reed – who is also his cousin – on the set of The Scorpion King in 2002, and they’ve since worked on multiple films together.
Wanting to thank him for all of his hard work over the years, which resulted in many injuries along the way, The Rock gifted Tanoai a brand new truck.
Little did he know his act of kindness would bring the stuntman to tears.

In the caption of the post, The Fast and the Furious star further thanked his cousin:
I love you brother and enjoy your new truck!
Over the course of my career, my stunt double (and cousin) Tanoai Reed @samoanstuntman has broken multiple bones, severed tendons, torn ligaments & just been an overall dominating bad ass achieving several “Stuntman of the Year” honors.
All done with one goal in mind – deliver the best movie possible to the world.
I had this custom pick up truck delivered just in time to surprise him (he’s still recovering from a stunt injury) while we give what he thought was going to be an interview about our careers together.
As you’ll see the moment I put my hands on my hips, that’s the drivers cue to pull away and reveal the big surprise.
Not only does Tanoai represent our family and my career with relentless commitment and passion. He also represents an entire Hollywood stunt community that is truly the backbone of our business.
Love you uso and thank you for the blood, sweat, tears and years.
We’re just getting started.

The 46-year-old actor definitely has a love for gifting people cars, and just a few months ago he bought his dad a new set of wheels after he underwent hip surgery.
Back in 2016, The Rock also gifted his mum a new speed mobile.
Some people like to collect stamps, some people like to run. It seems The Rock just loves to give people cars.
