Royal kids can’t keep it together on palace balcony

Prince George and Princess Charlotte undoubtedly stole the hearts of the nation at Trooping the Colour 2018.

As they took to Buckingham Palace balcony today to watch the annual fly-over at 1pm, all eyes were on the royal siblings, and they acted just like you would expect any regular children to.

Excited by the prospect of her third parade, three-year-old Charlotte could be seen practicing her regal wave before clapping excitedly as each plane flew overhead.

But the smiles soon turned to tears when she slipped and almost fell over. Luckily mum Kate was on hand to step in and console her with a cuddle.

George on the other hand was less than impressed after his older cousin, Savannah Phillips, stole his moment.

She was seen telling him to shush, and at one point put her hand straight over his mouth.

While flag-bearing crowds gathered along the Mall and sang the national anthem, the heir could be seen playfully joining in.

But his seven-year-old cousin, Peter and Autumn Phillips’ daughter, was less than impressed and promptly attempted to shut him up by covering his mouth.

Proving they’re thrifty royals, Charlotte re-wore the AU$70 floral dress by Little Alice that she donned to meet her little brother, Prince Louis, in hospital for the first time back in April.

Meanwhile, George re-wore the $120 blue and white outfit by Rachel Riley that he first wore in the siblings’ debut photograph together.
