The royal wedding roles George and Charlotte will play

Now that Princess Charlotte’s mastered her royal wave and Prince George is taking more responsibility as the older brother of newly born Louis, we can’t wait to see them take part in the royal wedding.

And given that George and Charlotte are Prince Harry’s only niece and nephew (along with newly born Prince Louis) they’re sure to be part of the bridal party walking the aisle at his upcoming wedding to Meghan Markle.

And let’s face it, it really doesn’t get much cuter than seeing the little all dressed up in their sleek wedding getups.

According to the abc, the adorable four-year-old Prince and his two-year-old sister will be taking on the roles of page boy and flower girl at the event taking place at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on 19 May.

Luckily, the pair has already had some practice at Aunt Pippa Middleton’s wedding to financier James Matthews.

Only let’s hope things run a little smoother this time around after last time Dutchess Kate looked to have a tough time keeping the little ones at bay.

At one stage she was caught telling the pageboys and bridesmaids to be quiet, while also dealing with her own children’s tantrums, giving George a stern face before he stopped crying.

As for the newest royal member Prince Louis, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk he “strongly doubts” the new baby will attend as the Duke and Duchess will want the focus to be on Meghan and Harry.
