She went in for bat for her friend Taylor Swift this week, but it seems Aussie star Ruby Rose wants to take it all back!
The 31-year-old took to Twitter to slam Katy Perry’s new song “Swish, Swish”, the third single from her new album.
Many believe the song is a long-awaited Taylor diss track.
"Purposeful poop" to "bomb a petit" to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda..stop trying to make 'Wit..I mean "fetch" happen.— Ruby Rose (@RubyRose) May 19, 2017
Ruby continued on to slam Katy and her "sloppy mess" of a song, saying: “to go from rebranding as political activist only to ditch it and go low.. is.. a bummer.”
Hmm, has Ruby never heard a little ditty called “Bad Blood”? At the risk of sounding like a 10-year-old here, Taylor totally started it!
Well apparently John Wick 2 star Ruby has seen the error of her ways and decided to backtrack on her earlier rant.
In a series of posts, she explained her regrets about reacting so strongly to the song, saying she shouldn't "stoop".
Being mean doesn't suit me and leaves me feeling dirty. Truth is being mean leaves more leaks in your camp than the titanic and I ..— Ruby Rose (@RubyRose) May 20, 2017
Get so triggered when I think bullies don't get held accountable and it makes me think I should say something.. but it's not place.— Ruby Rose (@RubyRose) May 20, 2017
I have always believed strongly that Karma exists and the truth always surfaces however I'm not god and I can't decide when or how that is.— Ruby Rose (@RubyRose) May 20, 2017
Clearly comes from being bullied in school & wanting to stick up for the underdogs. However I shouldn't stoop because then the msg is mixed.— Ruby Rose (@RubyRose) May 20, 2017
Clearly, she had to get that off her chest!
However, she hasn’t deleted the initial tweets, which we’re taking to mean she still stands by them, right?
Ahh, Taylor vs Katy. It really is a feud for the ages!
