Samantha Markle takes aim at 'heartless and arrogant' royal family

Samantha Markle has proved once again she’s a fiercely protective daughter by taking aim at the royal family on Twitter.

The 53-year-old, who hasn’t spoken to her half-sister, Meghan Markle, in nearly ten years, has stood up for her father, Thomas Markle, online.

Her comments comes after reports surfaced claiming that their dad, Thomas Markle, called Prince Harry ‘rude’ over a heated phone conversation they had while he was in hospital recovering from his heart attack.

“There is no valid humane or Christian argument in favor of the way my father has been treated in this situation,” Samantha tweeted out today.

“Cut the smoke and mirrors. It is wrong and outdated.”

Referring to an article on the Daily Mail, where Richard Kay revealed that top aides in the palace are worried about the ‘inept and feeble’ way the family are dealing with the Thomas Markle situation, Samantha responded calling it a ‘no-brainer’.

“Inept and feeble handling? How about heartless, arrogant and inhumane as well as inept?,” she said.

“The Queen’s church? You call yourself Christians? Christ would never treat our family as you have. Shame on you heartless things.”

Thomas Markle told the Mail On Sunday, he was ‘upset’ by the way Harry reacted over the staged paparazzi shots he planned before the wedding.

So much so, he said he told Harry “it would be better for you guys if I was dead…” before hanging up on their heated call.

The 74-year-old also said he was ‘hurt’ that Meghan told him he wouldn’t be able to make a speech at the wedding because there would be ‘no room’ for him in the reception proceedings.

His daughter, Samantha, took to her Twitter page to show her support for her dad.

“Proud of my dad and love him dearly! Windsors should try being loving and expressive rather than stoic, cold hearted, and inhumane,” she wrote.

“Learn and evolve. My father’s response was quite appropriate given the parties involved and context.”

Despite Meghan remaining quite on the matter, it’s reportedly affecting her greatly, with the Duchess stress getting too much for the royal – so much so that she might be pulling out of her trip to Australia in October.

“Meghan may not even attend the games at all or visit Australia,” an apparent Kensington Palace insider told New Idea magazine.

“There is serious talk about that and contingency plans have been put in place.”
