Self-described Kmart addict gets tattoo of the store's logo

When it comes to getting a tattoo many people often opt for something meaningful, perhaps the name of a loved one or an image the serves as a metaphor.

Yet in one woman’s case, she’s chosen to express, with permanent ink, that she really, really loves the retail department chain Kmart.

The anonymous woman shared the picture to a Kmart fan page on Facebook called Kmart Unhacks & Roasts along with an explanation of why she chose to get the Kmart logo permanently tattooed to her ankle.

“The story behind getting this tattoo … my Kmart addiction, which started back when I was little and would go with my nan shopping at Kmart and having lunch at [the cafe] once a week, good times… Still to this day I’m addicted [to] going to Kmart every chance I get,” the woman wrote.

The 35-year-old said she has wanted to get this tattoo for a year but previously would “chicken out”.

“Now it’s done, I’m not regretting it one bit,” she wrote.

In fact, she is even planning to return to the tattoo artist to get the word ‘addict’ added under the logo.

With over 1700 reactions, it’s clear fans of the page are loving it, with one captioning, “Kmart is life”.
