Shannon Noll and wife Rochelle expecting surprise baby

Shannon Noll may have missed out on a win in the jungle, but he has gained the biggest prize back home.

The Aussie music icon and wife Rochelle have announced they are expecting their fourth child, and the singer has revealed it was all thanks to his time on I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of here!

“I put it down to the detox in the jungle. I was totally detoxing and there wasn’t a lot of privacy if you get my drift,” Shannon told New Idea.

The pregnancy came as a surprise to the pair, who have been married for 14 years, as they believed they wouldn’t be able to have anymore children.

Already parents to three children, Cody, 17, Blake, 15, and Sienna, 11, they had previously tried for a fourth child unsuccessfully.

“We tried years ago after our daughter Sienna, but it didn’t work out,” Rochelle told the publication.

Even doctors said it would unlikely happen, after Shannon was involved in a freak ute accident in 2010.

“The first thing the doctor said was, ‘I hope you’re finished having kids’, so we didn’t think there was any chance,” Shannon said.

Rochelle is three months along and into her second trimester, and while there was some concern initially, Rochelle said thanks to her healthy lifestyle things are going smoothly.

Shannon said their other children were “over the moon” at the news.

While Shannon has been looking to put a tumultuous few years behind him, the announcement comes after he was filmed in an expletive-ridden rant at a fan during his tour.

Footage emerged of the former Australian Idol runner-up threatening an audience member at Duck Creek Races in Nyngan, 500km northwest of Sydney, on Saturday night.

In the clip, he can be seen singling out a concertgoer after something is thrown on the stage.

He has since apologised for the incident.
