Spicy chicken nuggets are your new 2am treat

It might be cold outside by McDonald’s has decided to spice up this winter by introducing two hot new menu items.

Spicy chicken McNuggets and spicy shaker fries are available from Maccas stores around Australia from today, and let’s just say we can see a few 2am runs through the drive-thru happening after a night out for these babies.

The nuggets are coated with a crisp and spicy tempura batter, and you can dial up the heat with new spicy buffalo dipping sauce.

Or if things are getting a little too hot for you, chill out your tastebuds with cooling aioli.

“Australians love to try new takes on our classic menu items, so we’re sure this spicy take on our classics are going to be a hit,” a McDonald’s spokesperson said.

The spicy nuggets have already been available in other countries such as Japan, with the menu item gaining a host of fans online.

If you haven’t tried them yet you’ll have to be quick. The Spicy Chicken McNuggets, Spicy Shaker Fries and dipping sauces and will be available for a limited time only.
