Stan Walker courageously opened up about his stomach cancer battle late last year.

It resulted in the 27-year-old having to have his stomach removed to avoid any cancer spreading.

Last month, the former Australian Idol star took part in a recent photo shoot, bravely going shirtless following his stomach removal.

Stan posted some of the photos – taken by Alex King – to his Instagram, admitting he was “embarrassed” to pose for the artistic shots.

“Actually embarrassed to take these photos… Ah well this is my life now… Just embrace it aye,” he captioned one of the shirtless photos of himself.

“Have no stomach but can take shirtless photos now,” he joked in the caption of another photo.

Stan also poked fun at himself looking like his “15yr old self”.

He recently admitted to Be in an exclusive chat, he would’ve been dead by the end of last year had he not had the proper treatment.

“I would’ve been dead by December,” Stan revealed.

There was no other option for him other than to have the life-altering surgery.

Stan can no longer have dairy or gluten in his diet, nor can he indulge in any greasy or oily food.

“It’s a 24/7 job my health,” he said. “And I’ve never looked after my health properly so now I’m forced to eat healthy which isn’t a bad thing.”
