A string of Australian celebrities have extended their words of support to Camilla Franks after the fashion designer revealed her breast cancer diagnosis this week.

Speaking to Be at the InStyle Women Of Style Awards in Sydney on Wednesday, television presenter Sally Obermeder said it was ‘heartbreaking’ to hear the news, and “we are all sending her our love”.

“She is an incredible woman,” The Daily Edition host told Be.

“She is a warrior in the true sense and she’s now facing the greatest battle. She will do it like she does everything, with such beautiful grace and humility and we’re all here for her.

“We want to see her get through this and get out the other side and get back to being a mum to her beautiful baby,” Sally added.

On Wednesday Camilla opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis, which comes just months after she gave birth to her first child.

The 42-year-old said she would remain ‘resilient’ as she prepares to cut down to working three times a week, and beginning treatment ‘very shortly’.

“I start on this journey humble but resilient; I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared but I am fearlessly determined to do whatever it takes by focusing on my body, mind and spirit as I take my first trusting steps towards recovery,” the designer said.

“Many of my wider CAMILLA tribe have already been on this journey themselves and I know will be an inspiration to me as I begin mine.”

Camilla welcomed her first child, a beautiful daughter Luna, back in January.
