Stars send Demi Lovato their support after 'overdose'
Celebs have rushed to show Demi Lovato their support after the singer was hospitalised following a suspected overdose last night.
Messages of “love” from huge stars including chat show host Ellen DeGenere and Ariana Grande have been flooding in since news broke that the singer — who has spoken openly about her battle with addiction in the past — had sadly overdosed.
Australian actress Ruby Rose sent a powerful note of support, telling the ‘Sober’ singer she was strong enough to “fight this”.
My whole heart and my whole soul is with @ddlovato today. I adore you and so does the entire world. You will fight this and you will come out of it even stronger. Addiction is powerful beyond measure, but you can defeat it. I love you.

The 32-year-old Pitch Perfect 3 star has had her own battle with drugs and alcohol addiction, and in a second tweet to a fan drew on that experience to reinforce the fact Demi needed a “support network”.
I have a lot of experience in this area and I disagree. You beat it… one day at a time. And it IS CHALLENGING and it takes a support network.

Many other stars felt this way, telling the 25-year-old through their social media accounts that they were “rooting” for her.
We should all wrap our arms of love around Demi Lovato. I am so happy you’re alive. Thank God. If I know my monsters as well as I believe I do, we all wish you self-compassion and inner peace. And may you receive the love so many have for you. #ImConfidentInDemi Demi, I love you.
