Just like nail bars, facial bars are finally a thing

It’s the beauty treatment that often falls by the wayside, but getting a facial is about to become so much easier thanks to the new trend for facial bars taking over the world.

While booking in a mani/pedi or a blowdry comes as second nature, not too many people have the time or funds to commit to a regular facial routine.

That’s where two sisters from Canada, Laura and Rena Polley have stepped in.

The beauty entrepreneurs have created Blitz Facial Bar, which has three stores in Canada, and has just opened its first US location in Brooklyn.

Designed so their aestheticians can get straight to work on your face with minimal fussing and disrobing, a 30 minute treatment will set you back $60 and includes a deep cleanse, skin analysis, toning treatment, serum application and facial massage amongst other delightfully pampering things.

“Busy schedules can cut into the time we all spend on our beauty regiments," Laura tells Allure. "With Blitz, my sister and I wanted to give customers expert yet affordable skin care that was both efficient and luxurious."

While there’s no word if they’re expanding to Australia, surely some budding beauty brain will jump onto this bandwagon soon enough.

Any takers?
