If you’re in need for some inspiration to up your anti-ageing game, meet Liu Yelin, the Chinese mum taking the world by storm thanks to her insanely youthful looks.
Claiming she feels like a teenager (and not looking like she’s far from it), wrinkle-free Lui lives by the motto that age doesn’t matter – and keeping fit is key.
“If you think you look rough, that's because you haven't sweated enough,” she told the Daily Mail. “I feel like I'm still 15.'
Despite approaching her 50th birthday, Liu’s incredible bikini body and approach to fitness has seen her being mistaken for her 22-year-old son’s partner, pestered by guests trying to find out her beauty secrets after they attended a wedding together.
Proudly sharing photos of her working out and frolicking in a bikini on her Instagram account, Liu reveals she’s found the fountain of youth – and it’s all about swimming.
“I swim in the lake and do weight training every day,” she told the DailyMail.
“My favourite thing is swimming outdoors in winter. When everyone was wearing down jackets, I had to strip down to my bikini and dive into freezing water. It's a test for my will and perseverance. I often had to force myself to do it.”
Liu’s swum across the Yangtse River in China, crossed the Strait of Malacca and made short work of the Han River in South Korea.
The mum shows no signs of slowing down either, revealing she’s young at heart when it comes to travelling as well.
“I'm a spontaneous person, so I might pack up my bag and travel to Europe on a whim,” she says.
