Woman’s photo of a really bad manicure goes viral

Learning any new skill can be hard and we admire anyone who is up for trying something new.

But it’s probably important to make sure to master whatever it is before attempting to use it in real life.

That’s a lesson one woman learnt the hard way when she posted a photo to celebrate becoming a nail technician.

She was hoping to advertise her services but unfortunately the photo she used could be the worst set of acrylic nails we’ve ever seen.

“Just finished my nail course anyone want their nails done inbox me,” she wrote on the Northern Beaches Buy, Swap and Sell local Facebook group.

As you might expect the post attracted some harsh comments with plenty of people asking if the ad was actually a joke.

“This a joke? Worst French mani I’ve ever seen!” one person commented.

“Never touching my nails,” said another.

Some of the comments bordered on the insulting with some people getting a little sarcastic as well.

“Fantastic, could you fit me in next week,” one person asked, but followed it up with shocked emoji.

The woman did eventually get back online to defend herself.

“I am proud of myself and all my achievements!” she said.

Well we’re proud she’s tried something new.

And everyone knows practice makes perfect right?
