Study reveals celeb with the most ‘perfect' face

There’s a few beauty truths we know to be true: beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and what we see in Hollywood doesn’t exactly reflect real life.

For those who want a surgeon’s perspective though, a new study by a London cosmetic surgery has revealed the most requested face shape – and the results are pretty surprising.

After examining 1000 patients in the UK, it appears women want the high cheekbones and narrow jaw of a ‘diamond’ shaped face.

“The diamond is the most desirable face shape for a woman. It is incredibly feminine and elegant,” Dr Julian De Silva from the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery told the Daily Mail.

Think Angelina Jolie’s square face is next on the list? Think again, with Rihanna’s oval face with a slightly wider forehead what women prefer.

“Another beautifully elegant face shape that many women desire,” explained Dr De Silva.

Coming in at third most requested in Reese Witherspoon’s heart shaped face, while the least popular face shapes were rounded and the pear.

Needless to say, given all faces are different and all women are different, we’re going to take this study with a sizeable grain of salt!
