Exploding pimple nails are the newest manicure trend that no one asked for.

The video posted online by nail artist Natasha Lee is definitely not for the faint-hearted.

“Yes they are rather gross, but hey, it’s Halloween,” she wrote alongside the clip.

Using a combination of different coloured nail polishes and beeswax she creates the illusion that a giant zit has formed on your nail.

And it’s ready to be popped – which it does.
