It’s the book Trump is desperately trying to stop from being released and now an extract from it about the President’s unusual hair has been released.
The controversial book, called Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House was written by author Michael Wolff and claims Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, used to describe in great detail to friends how the 71-year-old gets his off-blonde hue.
“She often described the mechanics behind it to friends: an absolutely clean pate—a contained island after scalp-reduction surgery—surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray,” the extract, which was seen by The Sun, says.
It then goes on to say that Trump was too impatient to wait for his hair dye to develop and that’s why the colour is a little off.
“'The color, she would point out in comical effect, was from a product called Just for Men – the longer it was left on, the darker it got,” the extract continued.
“Impatience resulted in Trump's orange-blond hair color.”
The book also claims that Ivanka is hoping to one day be the first female President of the United States.
Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon says in the book that Ivanka and her husband, Jarred, made a deal that if the opportunity arose for one of them to go for President, Ivanka would be the one to step up.
Trump and his aides are currently trying to put a halt on the book being released to the general public.
The President has hit out at his former aide, Bannon, on Twitter in a scathing attack.
"When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind," Trump had said.
