The wig was styled by famed hairdresser Richard Kavanagh and after the shoot, it was given to Kelly Faulkner, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in March.

Kelly is half way through her treatment and was presented with the wig at a special ghd event last week.

Pia took to Instagram to share photos of the campaign, along with information on how people can help raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

“I think it’s safe to say that cancer has touched all our lives in some way or another, so please get behind this worthy cause,” she said.

She then posted an image of Kelly in the wig, alongside the caption: “I hope this reminds you that there is a whole community behind you each step of the way and this little gift helps you to feel empowered every day”.

To play your part in raising awareness and helping in the fight against breast cancer, purchase a product from The Pink Blush collection from ghd and $20 will be donated to the cause.

“The National Breast Cancer Foundation is working towards zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030,” ghd wrote online.
