You may recall Thylane Blondeau as the six-year-old that stole the Internet’s heart and quickly gained the title of “the most beautiful girl in the world”.
Well, almost a decade has passed since then, and the youngster is now officially a teen model with a sizable Instagram following to boot.
Now 15, Blondeau is being repped by IMG Models in both New York and Paris, and has even made her red carpet debut, stepping out at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday night.
Despite her young age, Blondeau — the daughter of a former soccer player and an actress — has kept busy as a model since her initial high-profile gigs.
She has scored covers of Jalouse and L’Officiel, and an editorial in Teen Vogue, as well as starring in campaigns for French childrenswear brand Little Eleven Paris and Paul and Joe Sister.
Of course, it was her spread in French magazine Cadeaux (where she was dressed in heels and heavy makeup at age 10) that caused quite the commotion!
While Blondeau did walk the Jean Paul Gaultier runway at age 4, she’s still a year shy of the generally accepted, industry-wide standard of only employing models who are 16 or older.
We’ll have to watch this space!
