And the first lady didn’t disappoint in the style stakes, unleashing an arsenal of expensive designer threads that have earned the praise of fashion watchers worldwide.
With her first trip seeing Melania relying on strict silhouettes and tailored pieces, it’s been bright colour and fun white fringed Michael Kor dresses for her second tour.
But it’s the FLOTUS’ final look that’s captured the most attention, thanks to its epic price tag.
The first lady closed out her international tour with a grey Jil Sander dress worth $2985, red Bottega Veneta coat costing a cool $7100, and $1275 grey Manolo Blahnik pumps.
She also tweeted a snap of herself in the dress, revealing she and the POTUS were on their way home.

Add the extra cost of her so-luxe-it-doesn’t-have-a-price-tag Herve Pierre belt, and the FLOTUS’ outfit cost well over $12,000.
It's not the first time Melania has proved price is no object when it comes to looking good.
In May, the FLOTUS casually flaunted a $67,000 (US$51,000) Dolce and Gabbana floral print jacket while enjoying an official lunch in Sicily.
