Shopping centre slammed for use of ‘very thin’ model

A Sydney shopping centre has brought the debate about underweight models back into the spotlight.

The Strand Arcade – located in the Sydney CBD between Pitt St Mall and George St – was advertising its ‘Evening with our Designers’ event.

But the model in the photo used on their Instagram account on Friday has drawn heavy criticism, as many noted the model was ‘too thin’.
