Princess Mary laughs off fashion faux pas

She’s known for being a style inspiration for women around the world, and Princess Mary has proved just how popular her fashion sense is after she turned up to a royal event wearing the exact same frock as the host.

The 45-year-old royal was spotted in a $700 Britt Sisseck print dress as she arrived at the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize event in Denmark, but was in for a sartorial shock when she saw host and good friend, Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg.

While Princess Mary had accessorised with a blue belt, both women had opted for the bright print dress – but happily saw the funny side to the copycat couture choices.

The pair were seen laughing as they headed into the Charlottenborg Exhibition Hall, with Princess Mary later confirming that the fashion double up had been a coincidence.
