Plus-size blogger dresses as 'fat Mariah'

A plus-size blogger has been hailed the Queen of Halloween on Twitter after she dressed up in a ‘fat Mariah’ costume.

Chastity Garner Valentine, who has over 244,000 followers on Instagram, took to her blog in a post titled “Halloween 2017: Fat Mariah”, to reveal that the inspiration behind her get-up.

The co-founder of the curvycon.com, which offers fashion advice to plus-size women, said when she saw Mariah performing in Las Vegas in a pink leotard and hardly doing any dance moves, she knew she had her Halloween outfit sorted.

“I loved it. I watched it like 100 times. I thought it was hilarious, but I love that Mariah does exactly what she wants to do and how she wants to do,” Chastity wrote on her blog.

“She's a legend. In addition to giving you an amazing voice, she gives you diva in the true sense of the word.”

Chastity went on to say that in her younger years she thought she could be Mariah’s “fat doppelganger” and deicided to live out her childhood dream.

“Let me just say this little bit of dancing was no easy feat,” Chastity said about her routine.

“If you ladies had a fantasy of being lifted, it's not all it's cracked up to be. LOL.

“I had to keep my legs together, my body straight, and smile all at the same time.”

Chastity posted her transformation on Twitter and Instagram, where people were blown away with her costume.

“You win Halloween!!!,” one person said.

“This is legit one of the best things of 2017,” another commenter said.

“Perfection! You killed this,” a fan said.
