Priscilla Presley, 72, looks flawless at Oaks Day
Oaks Day has been injected with a huge slathering of Hollywood glamour with the arrival of Priscilla Presley.
The 72-year-old looked flawless and almost ageless as she arrived at Flemington Racecourse on Thursday and was swamped by waiting photographers.
Priscilla, who was famously married to Elvis Presley for six years in the 70's, stood out from the crowd as she was pictured standing against a pretty flower wall in a white, skin-tight dress with a mesh overlay.
The stunning Hollywood siren accessorised her stand-out dress with a metallic pink hat and a pair of killer heels.
Priscilla's look was completed with a sweep of perfectly applied highlight, bright red lips and dark smokey eye make-up.
Speaking before her appearance at Ladies Day, Priscilla explained how excited she was to be attending one of the biggest races in the Spring racing calendar.
“I have quite a history with horses,’’ she told the Herald Sun.
“I’ve been riding since I was a kid. I’d ride every day around the grounds at Graceland. It’s quite the deal, ladies’ day."
She went on to say that Americans aren't as in to hats as Australians and she can't wait to see all the ladies dressed up.
The superstar jetted in to Melbourne after bringing her show Elvis And Me: An Evening With Priscilla Presley, to Perth last weekend.
The star recently made headlines all over the world when it was reported that she had quit the Church of Scientology.
And while she is said to have denied ever leaving, according to The West, Priscilla's tour insiders confirmed she is no longer a member.
“She is completely out of it,” an insider told the publication.
“She says she lives a normal life.”
