Alessandra Ambrosio retires from Victoria's Secret

After 17 years Alessandra Ambrosio has announced she is hanging up her Victoria's Secret Angel wings and retiring.

The Brazilian model confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that the fashion show in Shanghai, China was her last catwalk as an Angel.

The 36-year-old told the outlet the reason she is retiring from her Angel duties is to spend more time with her two children Anja, nine, and five-year-old Noah she has with her businessman fiancé Jamie Mazur.

According to the publication, the model is hoping to focus on her acting career after starring in Daddy's Home 2.

She also wants to spend more of her time on her swimsuit collection, "Ale by Alessandra".

The mother-of-two - who starred in her first Victoria's Secret Fashion Show when she was 19 - certainly went out with a bang as she looked sensational on the runway strutting her stuff as fierce as ever.

Alessandra rocked her colourful angel wings for the last time in a sexy red lace lingerie set and a jewelled one piece bodysuit paired with some thigh-high lace-up heeled boots.
