For months now, Meghan Markle has been called out for breaking royal protocol by hugging the public, turning her back on the Queen and showing her shoulders at official events.
But now another Hollywood star has made headlines, after she broke a major royal rule while meeting the Queen at a polo match.
Susan Sarandon, who has starred in a string of hit movies, including Thelma & Louise, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Stepmom, was pictured approaching the Queen and Prince Philip as the Royal Windsor Cup Polo over the weekend.
The 71-year-old actress can be seen in the snap bending down to shake hands with the Monarch, with the 92-year-old smiling back and shaking her hand.
And while it may look like a nice moment between two woman, it’s raised some eyebrows, as Susan is said to have broken royal protocol.

Royal rules dictate that you should not approach the Queen, but wait until you are formally introduced.
Prince Philip did look a bit bemused by Susan’s actions and could be seen leaning in and whispering to his wife after the actress left.
Susan meanwhile looked absolutely delighted to have shook hands with the Queen and was pictured with a wide grin on her face for the rest of the day.
Other royal rules state that you should never touch the Queen and only shake her hand if she offers it out to you.
You should also wait until the Queen has started eating until you eat and finish as soon as she does.
