Tara wants Sam to cut his hair for the wedding

Ever since he first appeared on the Bachelorette last year, Sam Cochrane’s unusual hairdo has left people confused.

Even his now fiancée Tara Pavlovic questioned what his hairstyle was during their time on Bachelor in Paradise, settling on calling it a “frullet” — a front mullet.

But despite falling in love with Sam and his man bun/comb over combo, the 28-year-old has revealed she wants him to chop his signature locks off for their big day.

“I would prefer it cut,” she told Who magazine. “We are working on that!”

“I think Australia will be so happy if he cuts his hair,” she said, adding we should all “stay tuned”.

Yesterday, Sam revealed the reason why he likes to comb his golden strands to one side before tying them up to KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O show.

“I’ve got a widow’s peak,” he said to a listener who had called in to the radio show.

In case you’re unfamiliar with a widow’s peak, it means your hair naturally grows in a V-shape towards the middle of your forehead.

Sam hasn’t commented on why, but it seems he’s not a fan of the look as he’s often seen sporting hats.

“Hats are comfy, I live in hats,” he told hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson.

For weeks fans of the Channel Ten show have been in full support of the couple’s unexpected romance, with many hoping Sam’s new status will result in a new look too.

Others however are willing to look past his unusual hair style, just like his gal Tara. Aww.
