Tegan Martin's Victoria's Secret dream

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is just a few sleeps away, but that hasn’t stopped Tegan Martin from aspiring to hit the catwalk for the lingerie label next year.

Speaking to Be, the former Miss Universe Australia said she’d love to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel, keen to do what it takes to join the likes of Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio on the runway.

“It's every model’s dream to be in a Victoria’s Secret show,” the 24-year-old says.

Having been crowned Miss Universe Australia back in 2014, Tegan has had a fair bit of catwalk experience.

And she says the swimwear round of the pageant made her familiar with flashing the flesh on the runway.

“I felt a little like a Victoria Secret model at the Miss Universe pageant though. It's viewed by the same amount of people worldwide so I feel blessed enough to have experience that,” she says.

Nonetheless, there’s nothing quite like the VS show, and the blonde beauty only hopes she can one day meet some of her angelic idols.

“My favourite Victoria Secret model is Adriana Lima. She's the veteran in the squad and just so sexy,” says Tegan.

“I haven't hung out with any models in the past but maybe when I'm in the States next year.”

Until then, the model has plenty of time to prepare for the 2017 show, and plans to host a VS Fashion Show viewing party with her gal pals next week.

“I will be spending the show night with a bunch of girlfriends who are all models, with a big bowl of popcorn,” she confesses.

“I think we all spend the next week wondering how we can enhance our training to get Victoria’s Secret level bodies.”

Held in Paris on November 30, the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will see Australians Bridget Malcolm, Kelly Gale and Georgia Fowler hit the runway.
