It was meant to the date where The Bachelorette's Sam Johnston revealed his true feelings to Georgia Love, but he just ended up getting sent home in a disastrous date on last night's episode.
Sam left Georgia shocked when he admitted he wasn't on the show to find The One, or to fall in love, but instead help boost his TV career.
Thing-Not-To-Say-On-A-Date 101 Sam!
The model admitted after signing with a agency in the Miami, he had planned to return to LA to pursue acting and TV presenting when an opportunity to apply for The Bachelorette came up.
"I think presenting's kinda cool and being on camera and the media and, yeah, it was kind of heading that direction before this," Sam told Georgia, who described hearing his admission was like a "freight train right into the face".
"Um...but this has just given me like a little kick to get moving quicker," he added.
Continuing his theme of saying inappropriate things to a potential girlfriend, Sam added that his feelings for the former TV news reader may not be as strong as she thought.
"If I left this experience without you, I wouldn't, you know, be absolutely heartbroken," he told her.
Following his very honest admission, Georgia felt she had no option but to sent the electrician home before the rose ceremony.
"I just don't think we're on the same page. I don't think you are here for the same reasons as me," she told Sam before parting ways.
Earlier in the episode, Sam's arch-nemesis Rhys Chilton was also sent packing on the same double date.
Both Sam and Rhys had been picked by Georgia for a double date at Luna Park, however instead of one potential suitor going home, both ended up leaving!
"I'm not ready to meet 'the one'," Rhys told Georgia during their one-on-one time.
"That just was like the rug being pulled out from under me,' Georgia admitted.
"If I'm getting any inkling these guys aren't here for that same reason, I don't want to waste my time. I don't want to waste their time, either," she added giving Rhys his marching orders.
