The movie that sparked Johnny Depp and Amber Heard split to be released

If you thought you'd heard the end of the Johnny Depp and Amber Field drama think again.

London Fields, the movie that is believed to have caused the breakdown of the stars' marriage, is set to be released later this year.

Both Amber and Johnny star in the film where it's been reported the Pirates of the Caribbean actor flew into a jealous rage over Heard's scenes with Billy Bob Thornton and accidentally cut off his fingertip.

Heard - who accused Depp of domestic assault before later withdrawing the charges - alleged in her case against him that the incident occurred in March 2015 when the couple had a huge argument at a villa in Australia.

It has been claimed that during the row, Johnny "smashed several bottles and windows and also slammed a plastic phone against the wall unit."

She also reportedly claimed that Johnny then dipped his injured finger in a pot of paint and used it to write words including "Billy Bob" and "Easy Amber" on the wall after accusing her of sleeping with Billy Bob Thornton, which she denied.

Depp appears in the movie for about 18 minutes, while Thornton plays a terminally ill author with writer's block and Heard his love interest.

It was due to be released last September but was pushed back because of a dispute between director Mathew Cullen and the editors.

30-year-old Amber was awarded $7 million from Johnny in an out-of-court settlement earlier this month.

'The Danish Girl' actress announced she would donate the full sum to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union, however she later slammed Johnny for directly sending "the first of multiple installments" to both organisations and benefitting from a charitable tax deduction.

Let's hope the drama FINALLY ends!
