These are the foods we’re all saying wrong

It’s a dilemma we’ve all been faced with: torn between wanting to order something deliciously fancy on the menu but not wanting to say it wrong and shame yourself in front of your hot date or smirking waiter.

Well, never worry about mispronouncing your meal again thanks to a new guide by Sousvide Tools that has outed all the feeds we usually falter over saying.

Finally figured out how to say quinoa but never order a Niçoise salad? Try pronouncing it Ni-Swaz and you’ll never go wrong again.

Always stumped by the soupy Vietnamese goodness of Pho? Think about saying it with a “F” instead of a “P” sound to pronounce it “Fuh”.

One thing we might question - Sousvide Tools recommends pronouncing arancini – those little balls of risotto goodness – with a “see-ny” sound rather than a “chi” in the middle which according to foodies in the Be office, doesn't sound quite right.
