Woman rescued by firies after Tinder date goes hilariously wrong

A woman went through possibly one of the most embarrassing things that could happen to you on a Tinder date - and then her date went and posted about it online.

Liam Smyth, a student from Bristol in the UK, took to GoFundMe trying to crowdfund money for a new window, after his date broke it when she tried to remove her own poo from it.

The duo had been out on a nice date in Nandos before returing back to Liam’s house to have some wine and watch Netflix when disaster struck.

The woman went to the bathroom and according to Liam she “returned with a panicked look in her eye”.

She proceeded to tell him that she had “gone for a poo” in his toilet but it wouldn’t flush.

That’s when she decided to fish the poo out of the toilet and wrap it in tissue paper before throwing it out into what she thought was the garden.

However that’s when things took a both unfortunate and hilarious turn.

“Unfortunately, owing to a design quirk of my house, the toilet window does not in fact open to the garden, but instead into a narrow gap of about a foot and a half, seperated from the outside world by another (non-opening) double glazed window,” Liam wrote online.

“It was into this twilight zone that my date had thrown her poo.”

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the woman then had the genius idea of reaching into the windowpane to pull out her own excrement.

While she succeeding in removing her own poo from the window, she didn’t bargain for getting stuck there, which is exactly what happened.

“I grabbed her waist and I pulled. But she was stuck. Stuck fast. Try as we might, we could not remove her from the window. She was stuck fast, upside down in the gap,” Liam wrote.

After 15 minutes with his date stuck upside down in the window, Liam decided to call the fire brigade to get her out.

“Bristol's finest were on scene sirens blaring in a matter of minutes,” he said.

“Once they had composed themselves after surveying the scene in front of them, they set to work removing my date from the window using all of their special firemen hammers and tools. It took them about 15 minutes.”

The firies obviously had to destroy the window to get his date out and now he’s crowdfuding for a new one, with extra proceeds going to two charities - toilet twinning and the the firefighters charity.

Since posting his story, he’s reached £1,258 of his £200 goal, with people from all over the world donating.

“I'm glad you both got out of that sticky situation,” one person who donated said.

“Please don't dump her,” another said.

“If you contact me at Warmley Windows subject to survey and permission from your landlord we will carry out the repair free of charge so 100% of the money can go to the charities,” one commenter said.

“Hope the Poo of you find happooness poogether,” another person said.
