Spring is in the air, sparking a frenzy of cleaning and exciting home makeovers.

But while many of us head to Kmart when looking to spruce up our personal spaces without breaking the bank, it seems they have competition after TK Maxx announced their new stunning homeware range.

The discount chain has released images of some seriously chic items, including rustic side tables from $39.99 and stylish outdoor cushions.

Stating that this season is all about “textures”, the retailer unveiled a luxe velvet ottoman that wouldn’t look out of place in a Matt Blatt showroom and opulent accent chairs.

There’s also a crockery that has a touch of classic Meissen porcelain to it, sure to make any dining table look fancy, along with stylish glassware to match.

And if you’re nuts for plants, there’s also a few of those in the collection to give your home a splash of greenery.

While Kmart is still the leader for affordable homewares, even having Facebook groups dedicated to must-have cult buys, it seems the retailer may finally have a rival.

Now we can’t wait to see what their spring/summer offerings are.
