After over 30 years in the TV industry, Tracy Grimshaw is going for gold, quite literally, at this year’s TV Week Logie Awards.

The presenter has been nominated for her very first Gold Logie, after 37 years in the industry.

The renowned journalist is also nominated in the Most Popular Presenter category and in the Most Outstanding News or Public Affairs category.

Tracy gushed about her nominations to 9Honey in a recent interview, calling it a “great honour”.

“I think I’m still getting my head around it,” the 57-year-old said. “It’s very flattering and it’s quite overwhelming really when you think about how many people had to bother to log on and then go through the whole process to vote for me to make it into the final contingent.”

Tracy is nominated for the Gold Logie Award alongside the likes of Amanda Keller, Jessica Marais, Grant Denyer, Andrew Winter and Rodger Corser.
