Speed dating in the sky
Speed dating in the sky

Looking for love in all the wrong places? Maybe you should look to the sky.

A UK airline is now taking speed dating to new heights with two special flights.

Jet2.com, in collaboration with Capital radio station, is playing cupid for those unlucky in love. The airline says it hopes the intimate cabin setting will be the perfect backdrop to meeting new people.

Hopeful singletons will board a plane in Leeds, England that will whisk them away to Paris, the city of love. During the flight, the group of passengers hoping to find love will have the opportunity to meet the other participants before taking part in a speed-dating session on a cruise along the River Seine.

In order to take part in the flight, participants entered a competition where they had to state why they deserve to be on the 'love plane' and submit a photo of themselves. The winners are participating free of charge.
