The incident happened at Dublin Airport and according to an airline spokeswoman, the two Boeing 737s were taxiing on the runway when the tail of one plane scraped against the “winglet” of another, news.com.au reported.

No injuries were reported and passengers tweeted pictures of the incident.

The Irish Aviation Authority said it was investigating and Ryanair apologised for the accident, but said it had no impact on the customers on board at the time, who were moved to a replacement plane.
